Seit über einem halben Jahr schon Highlight in seinem Live-Act, nun endlich auch als Release. Stimming verarbeitet in “Una Pena” die Vocals der chilenischen Folk Sängerin Violeta Parra. Es lohnt sich bei der wunderbaren, aussergewöhnlichen und vielseitigen Frau einmal auf Wikipedia zu gehen.

Als Bonus, noch ein fantastischer ARGY Remix, der nach seinem tollen “Focus On” Album auf Poker Flat, wieder einmal beweist, warum er so beliebt ist.

Stimming. The man just never seems to sleep. Releasing and remixing all over right now he is definitely in demand, and its obvious to all why. Everything he touches turns to gold and once again with have a couple of nuggets here for you today. Having been turned on to the vocal prowess of legendary Chilean folk singer Violeta Parra, Stimming has worked with her beautiful vocals to construct one of his finest works to date. ‘Una Pena’ is a delicious slice of house, mixing traditional percussion with that wonderful vocal, it is simply wonderful!

On remix duty for this release is Poker Flat’s prodigy Argy, who creates a larger soundscape, with extreme drama. A fitting remix for such a fantastic original and one that completes an excellent and hotly sought after package.
